It's a baldy bald life!

Tulip in Starbank

It was a day n a half!

I was up early to start marking but I still had to clear emails. I'm on 15-minute presentations just now. Many are really good but it takes lots of concentration and I know how personal feedback can be too. My old buddy Simon came round at about 10. It seems daft but our fridge is too small, we have a fitted kitchen and finding space for a bigger one is hard. So Simon came to measure up for a kitchen, which he'll design and build.

He's a coffee geek like me and was impressed by my machine. The downside is that I bought coffee that shouldn't have been on the shelf in the shop because it was stale.....and it tasted dreadful! When fresh, it's amazing too.

I had planned to go out for a run at lunch but didn't feel like it & just cracked on. Come 18:15 and I was feeling so mentally drained that I missed my bike too! Rather, I poured a large dram, blasted the reggae and cooked dinner while Rosemary did her Pilates. I felt a bit tiddled.

Then we went out for a brief walk down to the park. The blooms were amazing. Although not fully sharp, I like this tulip.
