Fresh Air
It's been a bit of a crap weekend.
I had my COVID jag on Thursday, and woke up on Friday feeling as if I had been hit by a bus! I managed to do the work essential from bed. My hip had been playing up over the last few days (pain disappeared as quickly as it came...but was excruciating (not man exaggeration)). So I had an emergency appointment with Graeme the physio at just after 3pm! Delighted that nothing serious wrong, apart from the occasional pain that was consistent with being shot by a harpoon. After that, I fell asleep until around 8pm, had cereal and pineapple for dinner, served by a disapproving partner and then I fell asleep until the next morning.
Work is slightly overwhelming at the moment, but I had to crack on and get all my outstanding jobs done. It took all weekend. Not good when feeling ill.
Although I had a wee walk on Saturday, it was nice to get out tonight. I saw 'The Man', a guy who Rosemary once met on the train. He has a special moustache and always wears brightly coloured trousers. Then I saw a fledgling that fell out of a tree. The best that could be done was to pop it on top of a hedge and hope it learned to fly very quickly.
Then I walked down to the harbour and got a few shots off before my camera battery died. Unfortunately, there was a big streak across my filter that I didn't see and the light wasn't very good either.
