The Grimsay cuckoo is back

He seems to love one patch of the island and being next to the road it makes get a photo easier than sometimes.
The scientists have been working on cuckoo migration recently and used satellite tracking to understand where they go.
One of thier birds has now managed five complete migrations from the UK to the Congo and back covering 50,000 miles. You can follow them at this link.
Looking at today's weather, I suspect this one was wishing himself back in the Congo!
