Great Debate

We worried about this tree last year as it seems to have acquired a disease. It didn’t look well over the summer and we worried about it during the winter with snow weight. It survived and now the question is ... is it alive? It’s usually budding by now like the apple tree next to it.

We’ll give it another week or so, if no buds at that point, it’s most likely going to be firewood. It makes me sad as this tree provides shade to the backyard and barn.
