Still going strong

Out for a walk today doing a recce for a walk with some friends on Friday.
Heavy rain yesterday and overnight meant it was business as usual across the cultivated fields - great clods of clay on our boots.
These cowslips were still in full bloom, probably too cold for them to get pollinated.
5th May at four pm and it is less than 10 deg.
