Green leaves

This morning I walked in the woods down the road from our house as yesterday on the neighbourhood WhatsApp group we got a message to say that a 6 month old border collie puppy had got lost there, and they were requesting as many people as possible to walk there to try and find him. It is a large area and I walked for nearly 2 hours with Xena but I hardly saw anyone else - I did not see the puppy but when I got home a message came through to say he was found, which is great that he survived overnight in the woods by himself.

Again I took many photos of bluebells, but I binned most of them as I find I just cannot get the right image I am wanting. I find bluebells very difficult to photograph, you see a mass of blue and as you get closer to photograph them they become more sparse and patchy and there is always so much clutter on the woodland floor with broken trees and branches lying amongst the bluebells. Any tips?

Today was beautifully sunny but still so cold - it may look like summer in this image with all the new green leaves but it was chilly. I am fed up with the cold weather, usually by now we have packed away the winter coats and are wearing sandals.

I got sorted and wrapped three birthday presents, then went to the post office to post one of them - the other two will be given in person tomorrow - so that was a job ticked off my list.

Watched Mare of Easttown on Sky last night, Kate Winslet is superb in it.

Note to self - don't forget to vote tomorrow!
