Tea (with wine)

This morning I drove to St Jean d’Angely to get my second vaccine, and this afternoon we had afternoon tea al fresco as it is our friend Dick’s birthday.
All the usual suspects were there, and we dined on crust less sandwiches, sausage rolls, leek quiche, coconut cakes, banana cakes and a lovely chocolate malt Malteser cake. It was a bit too windy to keep the candles alight, but we persevered and sang happy birthday anyway!
The weather started sunny this morning, but sitting outside late this afternoon it clouded over and started getting quite cold, and rain is forecast for tomorrow.
