Afternoon sun

The weather people were right! Today was beautiful! Most of yesterday's snow is gone. Today I blipped my sunniest spot in the house. The back of our house has a southern exposure which floods this room for most of the day. The back wall of the house has all windows and a double door that looks out to the back yard and gardens.
I was playing around with photos of the whole wall, the whole room and then I moved a little bit to the left and the sun hit my lens and I snapped the picture. Blip accomplished.
Every morning I sit with my coffee on the sofa in this room as the coffee starts to kick in and I look outside and admire nature. It's usually a really nice way to start the day. Of course not as enjoyable during the winter months (especially this winter ) with all it's grey days. This weekend, actually tonight, we set the clocks ahead for Daylight Savings and it will be daylight for a extra hour Sunday evening. This, is one of my favorite days of the year! I'm looking forward to a lot more sunny days!!
