St. Blaise
Today I went across to the other side of the river to the little hamlet of Haccombe-with-Combe and the little church of St. Blaise. It was built in 1233 by Sir Stephen de Haccombe on his return from the Fifth Crusade. He gave it the name of St. Blaise, a 4th-century Armenian Bishop and Martyr.
The stormy looking clouds in this picture belie the fact that it's been a fairly nice day with just a few spits of rain. I've added an aerial shot of the church an extra.
