Sign of the times

Can't see it from this angle, but it's the underground cable. Rolls like this have appeared here and there in the neighbourhood today, as did new transformers some time ago.

Unfortunately the lorry driver left it on the field, which should be harrowed next week, if it doesn't rain much. Today was a wet day though, with some snow in the morning (extra) and it took past noon to thaw. Seven millimetres as water, so it will keep the ground from drying for a couple of days.
