3000 Blips On Polling Day
My first thought on the theme of 3000 was an Austin Healey 3000, a British, hairy-chested sportscar, or maybe a Ford Capri three litre Essex V6, 'the king of the cutters up'. No chance of being able to photograph either of these.
I decided to make a ribbon for Ollie dog and combine #dogsatpollingstations with 3000 blips. It wasn't very successful. She was confused (extras) and the wind kept blowing the ribbon so that it could not be read.
In the end I photographed the ribbon on a page of the auction catalogue showing an Austin Healey 3000 which was sold at the same time as as our Triumph TR4. Lovely motor, I enjoyed chatting to the owner. The car had to be transported on a flat-bed for repair between delivery to Duxford and the auction.
