Great swim with Arlo in the morning, followed by terrible Scotland rugby match (from the sofa thankfully) and then through to Barrowlands to see My Bloody Valentine.

The gig was pretty good, although not the best I've ever seen them due to the set being plagued with sound problems (especially the inaudible vocals). You could see the band looking frustrated by it. Things picked up half way through and the faster songs particularly the stuff from Isn't Anything were tremendous. The highlight for me was a version of this. As per usual the middle section of You Made me Realise was stretched to infinity, the physical impact of which never disappoints. Following it up with Wonder 2 was just a bit too much.
