A Quantum Leap - backwards?

A year and some ago, when it all came crashing down around us, I thought I was done with my old profession.  An early retirement seemed to stretch before me.  But the world works in mysterious ways.  Today, I went back to work; more gratifying surroundings, more daylight, more money, less hours, same company, same job.  I'm still in shock that it happened this way, and delighted that it did.  The best of all outcomes.
