Flower Friday

Had to wait in for supermarket delivery which as usual was at the end of the time slot, so used the wait to wash all the bedding including duvets as I knew they would dry in the hot conservatory!  Also separated and potted up my chilli plants which look pretty healthy - will see if they fruit this year as last year’s were not a success.  Quick walk, spotting this plant which I thought looked good close up with the minute hairs on the petals.  It is a Yellow Deadnettle - also known as a Yellow Archangel which I rather liked.  It is also sometimes called the Aluminium Deadnettle because of the grey patches on the leaves.  They usually flower as the bluebells are fading so have got a bit ahead of themselves this year!
