The Old Library Dartmouth

Today we walked on the coast path to Little Dartmouth from Dartmouth . We had a wander round afterwards. The dark grey building used to be the library before a new one was built in the Arts Centre. I worked for Devon Libraries in the 1970s and occasionally visited to see my friend Tony who was the librarian at that time. I think it was a church before it was a library. In those days county libraries were mostly in converted buildings. Now it is posh self catering holiday accommodation. You used to be able to sleep in there for nothing.
