Russian Cannon

Captured in the Crimean War and presented to the people of Ely by Queen Victoria in 1860 to mark the creation of the Ely Rifle Volunteers.

Ely Cathedral is nearby and I always think it slightly incongruous that a weapon like this should be situated so close. The extra shows the context.
