Berberis in the rain

Very uninspiring day, cold and windy to start off followed by constant rain from about 10 am. Didn't even attempt a walk. Inspired by today's blip by Andiecurrie, I had a quick walk around the soggy garden and decided upon this berberis, a colourfu, cheery plant despite the rain!
