RESULT!
Cold. Wet. Miserable. Will we ever get back to a proper spring? The only good thing is the blossom.
JR walked along to the gym for a session with her mates, and she got back home just before the rain started. I did not set foot outside. After my ‘yoga’ and a few arm exercises (I found them slightly easier after I dumped the 1kg weights), I switched on the TV coverage of the election. I find it oddly compelling. Predictable, but oddly compelling. So - it’s more of the same in Scotland... *sigh*
My internet/broadband is STILL playing up. Buffering when I try to open a newspaper or read emails, or browse blip. SO annoying. I was NOT in the mood for ringing the techy help again and listening to screechy warblers for 40 minutes before having to go though all security questions again. But eventually I had to. And yes, I forgot all my phonetic alphabet and had to ad-lib.
Actually, this time, it was only about a ten minute wait, and the chap was English, which made it much easier. He went off to ‘test the equipment’ and eventually came back and said he’d need to send a technician. YAY! And he’s coming on Monday. RESULT!
Elizabeth, bless her, was not put off her Archie walk, though I don’t think they walked as far today, and they may have had a nice relaxing time at her flat, which Archie loves.
Watching a film this evening for a change. The true story of the pilot who landed on the Hudson. Makes a change from gruesome murders.
Here’s a rather drookit Archie admiring a very beautiful tree still in blossom. Photo by Elizabeth.
