Lilac

The rain was relentless until 4pm. I had a ticket to go to Victoria Baths creative makers market but if I went by train I had a mile and a half to walk and I didn't fancy the motorway in the rain so I gave it a miss. My friend Lynne came round this afternoon and it had stopped raining when she went. Last time she came it was snowing! Decided to have a walk to the shop for milk and chocolate! Walked home the long way and spotted this lilac, it smelled beautiful too. So nice to get some fresh air.
