Silly Saturday

My b-i-l and s-i-l Steve and Lori are having a new condo built, so when we got a tour last week of its progress, I "lifted" a couple of 2x4's from the trash heap. And, turned them into fish.

But, not just any fish. University of Michigan trout, and Michigan State University flounder.

The prospective buyer actually gets two paintings for the price of one, because they are painted on both sides. I couldn't mix the drawings, because, around here...many people love one school, and despise the other.

My brother-in-law? He's an MSU graduate, so I'm sure he favors the green and white fish.

The pieces of 2x4 are both 16 inches long. Fun to make.
