Finished....

....well almost. I have a few threads inside to tidy up! I'm quite pleased to have completed my first garment on the overlocker with top stitching courtesy of my ordinary sewing machine! The neckline was the most difficult but have watched a few more YouTube videos now and would approach it differently next time but overall I'm really pleased. The extra photo is a close up of the fabric as for some reason the main photo gave it a a yellow tinge. This is how I spent most of my day so there's little else to report on! The weather was diabolical, snowed for most of the day and laid on the ground until tea time when the temperature seemed to rise quite dramatically and it was all gone. I'm hoping that might be the end of this really cold spell and the ground will start to warm up a bit. I need to get my seedlings into the ground or at least into the poly tunnel.
Tomorrow I will be having a really lazy day as it's my birthday and Barry has ordered in a Roast Lunch with dessert, so no cooking for me, or washing up! Hopefully the sun may also put in just a little appearance.
