Happy Mother's Day, Mama Squirrel!

I sat on the back steps and watched sweet Mama Mia (I couldn't resist) pose for me for the longest time.  First a lovely full frontal pose, then a very nice profile and then finally, she went to the bowl for a breakfast of sunflower seeds and peanuts.  She looked up at me and gave me the sweetest "thumbs up" and a wee smile.  It made my day.  I've added a colorized image of my Mom sitting in our kitchen in 1956.  May is the month for Mom's.
