Birthday

Liv Sophia arrived in the early hours of the morning, she looks adorable, sporting a gender neutral woolly hat. Islay dog was indifferent, I’m not sure how dogs perceive pictures – we have her for at least another day while L and A recover from a long night. I do know someone in the Western Isles whose Border Collie avidly watches One Man and His Dog. He also recognises the jingle to certain adverts, featuring dogs presumably. I miss those unexpected workplace conversations.
An early walk to get the papers and a stroll around Maxwell Park where I had hoped to see the coot ducklings that were so abundant there this time last year. I think they must have been in the reed beds. I hope it is not the case that the blip heron is in any way responsible for their non-appearance. I especially liked the blue patch marked throat which I hadn’t properly noticed before.
