Remembering out Mothers

We went up to the mountains today as a gift to myself as my choice today ! I love the beach and ocean too , but my heart belongs to the forests and mountains and wood side lakes and rivers. Altho we packed a picnic , we ran into snow forcing me to turn the car back .... and it was too cold at the next mountain park , so we just enjoyed the views the returned to have an indoor picnic instead.
The day was also filled with memories of my own mom, a nice phone call to R’s mom, and a loving FaceTime with my son and kids
