It's the start of a short week, so short, G has just an hour in school for the entire week!

We are both still getting over our Iftar meal, so very light lunch. G's kid in Doha needed her help in the afternoon, so I met up with Diane to have a mall walk. She needed to collect her watch, so we chose Dubai Mall. We passed by this kiosk which fascinated me. I love colours and texture and the way this soap is designed and displayed. We walked over to the new Zabeel section - Diane's first time. I wanted to show her the Darth Vader and Stormtroopers display, but they weren't there. There was a pop-up vaccination centre instead!

G whipped up a pasta dish for dinner using the IKEA meatballs we took delivery of a couple of weeks ago. She did them in the air fryer and they came out perfectly cooked, looking and tasting better than in the restaurant! It is Mother's Day in various parts of the world, so her lesson got cancelled.
