Early morning
Pollok Park at its best early in the morning. The tree on the far side of the bank is one of the few still to turn green. Islay, who had another night with us, and I saw the kingfisher, for once in a sitting pose for quite some time, and I managed to get an extra blip that was clearer than the one I took a year ago. I’m hopeful of an even better one when I have my other camera with me. I think the level of the river is perhaps a factor, at the moment it’s relatively low and perfectly still.
Alexander has just picked up Islay reasoning that it is probably wise for her to be back home before L and the baby get home tomorrow. She had a chicken supper before she left, I had intended it to leave it for the fox family.
Later I went to look for the foxes, the two adults were out and about and one of the Cubs was keen to know when they were coming back, the second extra blip.
