The aftermath of the scene

It was very dark when I spotted the pair of goldfinches seeming to act like Mr and Mrs. I mentioned it to Helena sitting beside me and went to get my camera. Through the patio doors I grabbed a classic dusk lit shot of a goldfinch on the branch. But I much prefer the look of this moment as they went on their way, leaving patterns and patches of colour in the air.
