swan

went back to Boxers lake this evening, a little lake not that far from home but one I've rarely been to. I think our local herons have moved there as there's a heronry with at least 7 nests there and quite a few herons. I did manage to capture one of them fishing and another one flying but preferred this shot of a swan as I loved the light. Have also added an extra of a mandarin duck getting its feathers ruffled in the wind.
