Railway fox cub
A good start to the day with a swim, not too busy (or maybe I am just getting used to people) and the sun shining onto the water making those zig zaggy patterns that remind me of the Ionian Sea at Port Atheras.
The FM confirmed further lock down relaxations with the added bonus that up to 6 people from three different households can meet inside, without social distancing. This will make a huge difference for so many families.
A large chunk of the afternoon was spent passing time on Kilmarnock Road while R went to the barbers. I discovered that it is Newlands Bakery 50th anniversary and the wonderful stone granite bride over the White Cart water is called the MacQuisten Bridge, MacQuisten was apparently the Road Surveyor.
A trip to the library followed and then, total indulgence, this pink loveliness. I know I should be supporting local cafes and I do, nevertheless I am drawn to this particular conglomerate.
Later... the fox family were out and about again this evening and I managed to get several photos, mainly the biggest cub who is the most confident. Apparently they are a family of seven.
