Cloudscape

I must remember to look at the challenges early in the morning so to be more prepared! I knew it was Tiny Tuesday and I thought I had it in the bag with today’s shot.

Then I discovered that the theme was Animals. Try as I might, I can’t see any animal shapes in this dramatic cloudscape. There’s often an animal to be seen in clouds. Not today.

These large and impressive clouds might hardly count as Tiny Tuesday but my reasoning is that their massive bulk consists entirely of tiny water droplets. Anyway, it’s all academic!

We were out this morning for what has become a regular Tuesday trip up to the Detling Community Shop for a coffee and, as there were just two scones left, we had to have one each. Our walk took us up onto the open access area of the North Downs for the first time this year. The chalk slopes higher up were covered with many wild flowers which were a joy to see.
