My little nephew had a tea party today to celebrate his 5th birthday. He's very keen on cars and I spent quite a bit of time on my knees, following him around the rooms, pushing tiny cars and tanks along the floor.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers too! I was very pleased to receive a message from my son Daniel over in Australia at the moment, who I've really been missing. I'd become a little worried, as I hadn't heard from him since Tuesday. He's having a great time, having left Sydney after a month there staying with a friend, but now off on his own staying in YHA hostels (at Byron Bay at the moment), camping with a couple of Danish people he met and having a go at surfing tomorrow. He's going to continue travelling in Australia and has booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur in mid April.
