Long drive home

M5/M42/M1/A1M and finally A1! We encountered terrifying thunderstorms and associated perilous surface water.

I noted a marked absence of international lorries on this journey. An inevitable consequence of Brexit.

I also discovered that two days’ long drives up and down the country are beginning to lose their novelty!

It’s good to be home again to the excellent news that Scottish hugs are back in line with the English ones.
