Stairway to heaven

Its been a very, very wet day today; the rain has been bucketing down outside and the gutters are struggling to cope with all the water.  So not really a day for doing much outdoors.

I did get out this afternoon however, to attend the vaccination clinic for my 2nd jab.  In the process I walked back through Keynsham looking for something to photograph and settled on the steps leading up to the new Civic Centre (or Golden Palace) as it is known locally.  Back when people used to go to the office to work, Cathy worked here.  It is a while ago but you remember those days, when commuting as something that involved actually leaving the house, rather than stumbling blindly into the home office in one's dressing gown and pyjamas.
