Yellow flower
I have no idea what plant this is but it looked like a shrub. I'm sure one of you can put a name to it.
We parked at Waitrose in Stratford and then walked into town along the Tramway and got off by the children's play area and then onto the riverside opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre before heading down to the footbridge at Lucy's Mill and back into town that way.
Quite a few people around and an air of some kind of normality seems to be returning albeit with social distancing and mask wearing still in place.
We grabbed a take out coffee and Bakewell tart at Huffkins and found a bench to sit on overlooking the canal basin before walking back along the tramway to Waitrose.
The plant in the photo was growing alongside the tramway which runs behind the houses in Shipston Road. The trams were horse drawn I believe and the route was from Stratford to Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds and there is evidence of it here and there alongside the A3400 before it turns off towards Moreton.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
