Lily of the Valley

There comes a time when the accumulation of debris in the garden needs to be dealt with - shrub pruning, dead wood, bits of wood which were to come in handy but haven't yet in a significant number of years.  That was today's task and it is now done - some stuff for the dump, some made it to a bonfire.  While there might be resolve not to accumulate another pile, that resolve will be temporary.
The lily of the valley has come out - one of my favourites.  According to Wikipaedia, it was used in past times to treat gout.  The garden also has bishops weed which had the same use.  Good to be prepared.
