Roses

The white rose bush in my garden is being decimated by beetles. This lovely unscathed one is up at the village shop, less than five minutes walk away. The solution offered locally is to spray with poisonous insecticide ... which I don't want to do. Any alternative suggestions gratefully received!
Market day today, including coffee at the taverna. Also a swim at Limniona beach, still lovely and virtually empty - but soon to fill up probably as on Friday the 'tourist season' officially opens and the travel ban from Athens will be lifted.
In the evening we had a brief Facetime dinner with Athens friends.
