First swim of the year!

I finally got my swim at this beach... it was brilliant! Sandy, quite shallow and therefore not too cold at all.i had a really good swim not just a quick dip. And a bit cloudy and breezy so not too hot on the beach.
Normally I'd have been swimming at the pool about 3 times a week and usually start braving the sea at Easter. So I've really missed it!
It was interesting to potter around this area near Athens where I used to go swimming in the distant 80s, before we got the cottage in Evia. Also nice and quiet as bars and restaurants are still closed!
This beach actually faces Evia... it's visible in the distance in the photo. Next week we should be actually there!
