Spring colour at Winkworth Arboretum

We visited our friends Mark and Sheila today who live near Godalming. After an excellent lunch we walked in Winkworth Arboretum which is a just mile down the road.

The weather was freezing with a bitter wind. Even in gloves my hands were icy. There was a profusion of daffodils and snowdrops but this shrub with its wonderfully coloured leaves was my highlight.
