Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB) Swanbourne Beach

This morning we met a crew of young surf lifesavers from Swanbourne Surf Lifesaving.
They were undertaking a six week training course on IRBs.
Starting  off with their bronze medallion they are learning how to skipper the rescue boats.
We watched them go through their training from inflating the boats to loading on the trailer.
The equipment they need is supported by the council and local fundraising.
We chatted to Graham the skipper who kindly posed for us with a couple of his young cadets.
