A good innings

Another day in Northampton and once again we took G's mum into town to do some shopping. I took the opportunity to go back to All Saints' Church which I previously blipped on10th November.

I love this epitaph on the wall beside the church entrance. It is not so unusual for people to live 100 years these days, but in the 17th/18th centuries it must have been very exceptional.
