Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2021 Wednesday — Back Yard View

I spent a portion of the day un-scrapbooking. Slowly, very very slowly, I am making a dent in the stacks of photo albums and scrapbooks that we own. They both take a huge amount of space and many of the photos now in the scrapbooks seem like extras that should have never been included. The Scotch Tape and the glue used back then have lost their adhesive quality and some of the vinyl covered pages are quite crispy. It seems like a huge mess and it is a big job.

Late this afternoon we took the pups to walk in Tidelands Park by the back bay. The parking lot by the boat launch was full — pick-up trucks with empty boat trailers were using every space. Because of the overcast day we figured the fishing conditions were excellent. We know nothing about fishing, so that’s a guess.

After dinner at DiStasio’s Italian Restaurant in Morro Bay, I had the pups in our back yard for a few minutes when I realized that I was seeing Morro Rock through the shrubs. It’s an angle I haven’t taken before.

Then I went in the house and prepared to watch the Wednesday evening celebration from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills with Pastor Jack Hibbs. He’s an excellent Bible teacher and very much a historian, well versed not only in American history, but world history. He has just started a series through the New Testament book of Hebrews; Part 4 this evening .

So that’s our Wednesday here on California’s Central Coast in the itty bitty town of Cayucos,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
