Seeing Red

It’s always a pleasure to see our pair of red-breasted woodpeckers stop by; pictured is the male who prefers the suet feeders, and the female prefers ground feeding. We’re hoping to see some of their offspring this summer • Speaking of summer, it felt like it today after spending a few hours outside. We prepped our garden patch for roto-tilling next week; the planter box for the broccoli is now ready to go; and a flower bed is ready to receive morning glories tomorrow. It was a good day but it takes awhile to build up our gardening endurance :) • WNBA’s season started last night so I’m catching my favorite team’s first game this afternoon. Go Storm!!
