Oriental Poppy

This poppy, just growing out from a crack where the path meets the bottom of the wall of the house, is so prolific...many people would consider it an untidy place to grow, but I haven't got the heart to pull it out and every year, enjoy it's strength and profusion of flowers.
Having a quiet day, a lovely long catch up with M in Oz, all good there, he's happy, and I'm cooking a chicken roast for dinner this evening... .about to enjoy a pre dinner G&T...
