Vitamin Sea

The weather forecast for today was grim, but Mr A really wanted to go to the seaside.

What a good decision that turned out to be; it was glorious!

My friend from work goes to Cleveleys at every opportunity (she’s hoping to move and eventually retire there), so I messaged her to say we were going. She immediately rang me to say she and her hubby were already there and we should meet up.

We speak most days via WhatsApp but I’ve not seen her in person for well over a year, so it would have been rude not to see her when we were in the same place at the same time.

We’d taken the camping stove and kettle with us, so after we’d had a mooch around the town centre, we met up with Cheryl & Andy and had a brew on the prom, which was great.

It was good to catch up, with the added bonus of the fresh sea air and of course a Mr Whippy.

Only when we were driving back home did the clouds roll in. Just before we hit home, the rain started and boy did it rain! :-0
