Wedding ready

We threw a surprise party today for Dr Levi as he’s getting married on Thursday (at the grand age of 73).

He’s our endodontist; if you ever needed to have a root canal, he’s the sweetest, kindest and most definitely the best person for the job.

Even though he’s the same age as my Dad, I think of him as a grandpa figure; he’s such a lovely soul. Janine (pictured) is his regular nurse and absolutely adores him.

He was so touched that we’d planned this for him; we ordered in sandwiches and a couple of the girls baked cakes which were delish!

He’s a huge fan of novelty socks, so we got him a couple of pairs (‘this guy is an awesome dentist’ and ‘I can’t keep calm, I’m getting married’) in a personalised ‘In case you get cold feet’ box plus some QR code cuff links.
The code, when scanned, reveals a personalised message from us.
We also got vouchers for Betty’s tea room (since he’s from Yorkshire) so that he and his new wife can have afternoon tea together sometime, though we suspect his sweet tooth might get the better of him ;-)
