Coffee break.
Wedding preparation was the predominant activity of the day.
We met with our older son and fiancé and her parents at the reception hotel early this morning. Rescheduled to July because of the Coronavirus restrictions; it’s got a good feel to it now.
Coffee was had afterwards - our first experience of the hospitality sector since last autumn. The hotel had a nice spacious area outside and the sun was shining, so why not!
Later in the afternoon we met our sons in Edinburgh for an appointment at Slanj tailors and outfitters - kilt and tartan trews specialists and outfitters for special occasions. It was a good experience. Their shop is near the Parliament so we’d a walk around Holyrood before setting off for home. It was nice to be back in familiar territory on a lovely day.
It’s been a good and successful day.
