Guinness cake and cocktail

I made some Guinness and black cherry cupcakes for 2 birthdays this week and had a couple left over for us.

Around St Patrick’s day I saw a video by Nelson’s Gin Distillery for a Guinness cocktail, mixed with one of their gins and a double espresso. I don’t have the specific gin they used ( called Timur, which is a pepper but gives the gin a hint of a citrusy orange flavour ) so had to settle for a lemon one instead. It tasted ok but the second one I had with a shot of spiced rum in it was better!
