Translucent

This isn't a hoopoe either. I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to see one, and I was right, but I spent 15 minutes pursuing this beauty around a flowerbed. It was very windy, so I was lucky to get a few unblurred shots. It's a black-veined white, which I am pretty sure I haven't seen before.

Today's link is a BBC archive video which presents a French village bakery in 1976 as if it's an anthropological investigation of some remote and exotic tribe. But get what the baker does with his razor blade at 0:30! Don't try this at home.
