I liked the way the backlight gave these leaves an almost metallic glow. 

More appointments today: Mystère's annual vet visit for his jab, which was as traumatic as ever; he went straight to bed when we got back and has been there ever since. 

Later, a choir committee meeting (via Zoom of course) ... we've now got to the point where even the minister for health is being consulted about whether we can meet outdoors and sing. No, is the answer, although if we were professionals we could. So this whole season is basically a washout and we'll (hopefully) be starting again with a clean slate in September.

My starter was bubbling furiously, so I've started on some hamburger buns and made yet more crackers, on S's insistence. They are so good with cheese. But it's pizza night tonight.
