Round the block

Mondays can be hard, but this was a pretty decent Monday, if I may say. Don't like to talk about work though because I would love not to work, and therefor write about what happens outside from work :)

This shot I took on the walk after dinner with my oldest. Just around the block but it is still warmish at night and light! It gives us an opportunity to recap our day and that little one-on-one time. We talked about his visit to Te Papa, the catch up with his friends from camp, how long his hair is getting, how dry everything looks, the weird cut we saw on a tree that looked like two goggly eyes, and the video I watched about gaming and the effects on our brains. So, in about 20 minutes I had covered a lot more interesting topics with my 12 year old then over the span of an 8 hour work day with some adults at work!

Not sure what to think about that.....
